Shikimic Acid has been used in Chinese medicine for 5,000 years and has antiviral, antimicrobial, anticoagulant and antithrombotic properties that may assist with halting virus' and clots, neutralising spike protein and fighting cancer.
PINE NEEDLES
Pine Needles are an excellent source of Shikimic Acid and Suramin. Suramin
is particularly helpful for blood clots and protecting your DNA and RNA; while antioxidants, also found in pine needles, help protect your heart, brain, liver, and other organs.
Pine Needles are fantastic immunity boosters - containing 4-5 times more vitamin C than orange juice to stimulate the production of white blood cells, promote antioxidant activity, lower the risk of chronic disease, and speed healing and collagen production.
Pine needles are also an excellent source of vitamin A - important for eyesight, bone health and helps build your body’s defence system.
STAR ANISE & FENNEL SEED
Star Anise and Fennel Seed are excellent sources of Shikimic Acid. Both of these herbs benefit from a long infusion to release their antimicrobial and antiviral properties.
KAWAKAWA
Kawakawa is a powerful, reliable and effective rongoā for treating a multitude of conditions. Taken orally, Kawakawa’s stimulating and rejuvenating properties help with coughs and colds, bronchitis, inflammation and infection, joint and muscle discomfort, internal and external skin conditions, circulation, chilblains, worm infestations, indigestion, gonorrhoea & syphilis, general fatigue and lack of energy.
LEMON BALM
Lemon balm contains a compound known as rosmarinic acid that appears to have powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. Antioxidants help prevent cell damage, while antimicrobials kill infection-causing organisms like bacteria and viruses.
NETTLE
Stinging nettle leaf may be useful in reducing the symptoms of hay fever by acting as an anti-inflammatory. Some research has linked treatment with stinging nettle leaf to relief of symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, and itchy eyes.
ELDERBERRY
Elderberry has extremely high levels of anti-viral properties and is very good support for respiratory illnesses. The berries and flowers of elderberry are packed with antioxidants and vitamins that boost your immune system, tame inflammation, lessen stress, help protect your heart and prevent and ease cold and flu symptoms.

HOW TO TAKE :
- To make your tisane, simply add the plant material into a teapot or saucepan and pour over boiling. Let the tisane steep for several minutes and serve.
- Add honey, mint and/or lemon to taste
