Glycetracts
Have you been searching for an alternative to alcohol-based tinctures?
Our range of glycetracts are made with food grade vegetable glycerine - a clear, colourless and odourless liquid with an incredibly sweet taste. Glycerine extracts constituents from plants without the use of alcohol. These extracts are known as "glycetracts" or "glycerites” and are an excellent choice for administering herbal support to people who are sensitive to alcohol for any reason (ie young children, recovering alcoholics and those with liver distress).

Kawakawa
Kawakawa was given by Io to heal Papatūānuku and her mamae from the separation of Ranginui. Io cloaked Papatūānuku in a blanket of kawakawa to heal her heartspace. It is said this is why the leaves of the Kawakawa are heart shaped.
Her stimulating and rejuvenating properties treat a multitude of conditions including High blood pressure, circulation, and cleansing and purifying of the blood; Internal and external skin conditions - bruises, eczema, dry irritated skin, cuts, boils, abscesses, wounds and insect bites; Digestive problems such as indigestion, heartburn, cramps and bloating; Pain and discomfort in the joints, muscles or fibrous tissue; Chilblains, coughs and colds, bronchitis, worm infestations, general fatigue and lack of energy.
Kawakawa is a powerful, reliable and effective rongoā that supports the whole body - sometimes Kawakawa is all you need.

Our tinctures are highly concentrated liquid extracts of rongoā rākau macerated in alcohol and distilled water over 6 weeks.
Tinctures extract the active ingredients of the rākau selectively and are stable and imperishable.
To take tincture, add drops directly under the tongue - this gets the active ingredients directly into the bloodstream. You can also dilute the tincture in a small amount of water or juice.
