A delightful natural moisturiser - light and soft with the beautiful subtle aroma of Tuberose.

Kōtukutuku (Fuchsia excorticata) is one of only a few deciduous native trees in Aotearoa. She has beautiful small putiputi that appear between August and December; initially green-yellow and changing to purple-red. She also has sweet, juicy dark purple berries, known as kōnini that taste like tamarillos.

Kōtukutuku is easily recognised by the characteristic appearance of her bark which she sheds spontaneously. Her bark is rich in tannins, which contain anti-inflammatory properties that can help minimise redness and inflammation. Tannin is an astringent, meaning it tightens pores and draws out liquids (astringents are often used as a face cleaning product).

A P P L I C A T I O N : 

* Ideally apply cream no more than five minutes after bathing

* Rub cream between your palms to warm it up, and then massage into the skin.
