R I M U   O I L

Our comprehensive range of native hinu (oils) are handcrafted with tikanga and aroha - from harvesting through to packaging, each rākau is processed with meticulous attention and respect.  Our hinu contains the leaves, flowers, roots, bark and /or buds of the rākau, slow infused in cold pressed sunflower oil.

Rimu (Dacrydium cupressinum) supports healthy skin, the digestive system and blood flow. Traditionally the inner bark of the rimu tree was beaten into pulp and applied to skin burns; and also combined with water and hot stones to treat ulcers and sores. The inner bark of the young tree was used to stop wounds bleeding.

C O N T A I N S :

* Rimu leaves and bark

* Cold pressed Sunflower Oil

* Glycerine (optional)

* Castor Oil (optional)

Glycerine and/or castor oil can be added to your hinu if you prefer this consistency.

Please note we can custom blend oils for you.  

A P P L I C A T I O N :

* Gently rub/spray a small amount of oil onto your skin

* Avoid applying to broken or irritated skin

* Avoid contact with eyes
