SAGE, GARLIC & FENNEL SEED OXYMEL

 

An Oxymel will enable the expectoration of excess phlegm from the lungs and respiratory tract, opening the airways and making breathing easier.

 

Our Sage, Garlic & Fennel Seed Oxymel is a sweet and sour mixture that can be used as a gargle, swallowed in full strength or diluted for throat and nasal conditions.

  

SAGE

Sage contains vitamins A and C, along with several other antioxidants which help reduce the risk of serious health conditions like cancer. Sage is also rich in vitamin K, which aids the body in clotting blood.

 

GARLIC

Garlic is widely recognized for its ability to fight bacteria, viruses, fungi, and even parasites. Research has found garlic reduces the risk of heart disease and can help to manage cholesterol levels

Several studies suggest that garlic makes platelets (the cells involved in blood clotting) less likely to clump together and accumulate on artery walls - this means garlic acts like an anticoagulant and therefore reduces the risk of heart attacks.

 

FENNEL SEED

Fennel Seed is rich in powerful antioxidants like chlorogenic acid, limonene and quercetin, and is an excellent source of Shikimic Acid. Fennel Seed may may improve heart health, reduce inflammation, suppress appetite, and provide anticancer effects.

  

DOSAGE:

1 tablespoon per day as a preventative/supportive

2 - 3 tablespoons per day with symptoms

EXPIRY:

Store oxymel in a cool place out of direct sunlight - it will keep for 6 months or more.  Refrigerate for a longer shelf life.
